First Syndicate Assembly

Last week on Monday, Room 12 hosted the first Senior Syndicate Assembly for Term 2. Firstly, I welcomed the rooms to our assembly. Then, we sang a song called How Far I'll Go. Next, we had an epic lip sync battle. Room 11 was defending their L.S.B championship title. Two contestants from each class participated in the contest. Sadly, Room 12 couldn't win because we were the hosts. Dominic and Penny won the competition. Everyone enjoyed it.

Lip Sync Battle Contestants:
Room 9- Jacob and Diego(Options)
Room 10- Penny and Dominic(Let it Go)
Room 11- Meafou and Vika(
Rolex)
Room 12- Lupe and Mika (Rolex)

Back To Technicraft

Today we went to Tamaki College to begin our  Technicraft class for this term. The year 8 students had cooking with Mrs Tuipolotu.

We made coconut truffles. The ingredients were oreos, coconut, condensed milk and chocolate. First we had to break the oreos into little pieces, then put them into a bowl. Later we added the coconut and poured the condensed milk.

After all the ingredients were mixed we had to put it into the fridge for 10 minutes . Next we had to melt some chocolate chips for our topping. When the truffles were ready we poured the melted chocolate on top. It was delicious.

Back To School

Today was exciting for me because it was the second day of Term Two 2017.

Over the holidays there were two special events, Easter Day and Anzac Day. Anzac was important to us because we had learnt about the topic and we even had a special Anzac ceremony. We sang the New Zealand national anthem and had one minute of silence to remember the soldiers in the war.

Today was very fun and exciting.

Back to School!!

We are back to school from two weeks of holiday. I really enjoyed the holidays. Now we're back we needed to be thinking hard and being on task. I was so excited to see my friends at school. In the morning we had two assemblies.
