Back to Tech

On Wednesday we went to Tech again. After two weeks I was really looking forward to going again. We had to do our take away posters. I just started painting my poster. On our last week we are going to do some t-shirt printing.

Back to School!!

We are back to school from two weeks of holiday. I really enjoyed the holidays. Now we're back we needed to be thinking hard and being on task. I was so excited to see my friends at school. In the morning we had two assemblies.     

Our Duffy Assembly

Last week on Friday we had a Duffy Assembly, our guest was Ravinder. She was talking about how reading is important because it's going to help you in the future. It was so fun. She is a sports reporter and works in the news media. Our Duffy books were given to us.    

Liquid Art

On Tuesday last week we did liquid art for our science experiment. It was so fun to see how the colours mixed together with the milk. In my group were Samuel, Aydrian, Curtis and Vaimoana. At the start we didn't know what to do. As we were working throughout the science experiment we had better knowledge of what we were doing. Technicraft

Every Wednesday our year 7 & 8s go to Tamaki College to do Technicraft. The year 8s do cooking but the Room 12 and 11 year 7s split up. In my group are James, Lupe, Athens, Meana, Timote Junior, Jack Daniel and me. We do graphics, we draw lines and picture. On Wednesday we had to draw our own monsters. Our teacher is Mr Pineda. Every week I look forward to doing activities with him.  

Duffy Show

On Monday our entire school watched a Duffy show. It was funny and interesting . I really enjoyed watching it. 
The show was about Duffy traveling back in time. He moves to a new house and meets a lady named Ruby. Ruby is an old lady who can't read and her father died in.. World War 2. Duffy travels back in time to save Ruby's father.       

Back to school

When I went to school I was very excited because I haven't seen my friends in a very long time. I felt so good to be back at school with all the learning and a new start.
