Snag Golf

Last week after fitness my class and I went to Snag Golf. It was really fun. We had to go in groups of three or two. My partner was Timote Junior. First we had to roll the ball to the target. After that we used the golf club.

Buddy Reading

On Tuesday we did buddy reading with Room 7. It was really fun doing it again. I was with Ka, he was reading a narrative about a lady who lost her glasses. I really enjoyed reading with my buddy.

Vector Assembly

On Thursday the vector company sent Ester to our school to talk about where most of our power comes from. She showed us videos of a dam and  turbines. Most of our turbines were located south of the North Island such as Wellington and Te Apati. She showed us how solar power works with light.  If you would like to watch a video click here.

Back to Tech

On Wednesday we went to Tech again. After two weeks I was really looking forward to going again. We had to do our take away posters. I just started painting my poster. On our last week we are going to do some t-shirt printing.

Back to School!!

We are back to school from two weeks of holiday. I really enjoyed the holidays. Now we're back we needed to be thinking hard and being on task. I was so excited to see my friends at school. In the morning we had two assemblies.     

Our Duffy Assembly

Last week on Friday we had a Duffy Assembly, our guest was Ravinder. She was talking about how reading is important because it's going to help you in the future. It was so fun. She is a sports reporter and works in the news media. Our Duffy books were given to us.    

Liquid Art

On Tuesday last week we did liquid art for our science experiment. It was so fun to see how the colours mixed together with the milk. In my group were Samuel, Aydrian, Curtis and Vaimoana. At the start we didn't know what to do. As we were working throughout the science experiment we had better knowledge of what we were doing.
